God is good, all the time. He always is, and always will be. The more I have grown in Him, the more I have realized this. At times it may get hard, but I have learned to trust in His goodness and let Him take it all.
Exodus 34:6 says “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long suffering and abounding in goodness and truth.” God’s goodness is so amazing, and it’s never ending. You see, God’s goodness stretches further than you think. Some people think only of it when something “good” happens in their life. For example, I got a new car. God’s goodness was in that for me. But it’s in the “smaller” things too. When you wake in the morning, God’s grace and goodness were over you through the night, protecting you. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed for anyone, but God keeps His goodness over you through the night to ensure you make it to tomorrow.
I think learning how to see past the hardships of life to see His goodness is the hardest part about it. I was once in a spot where I chose not to see His goodness. Everything feels like a war without God by your side. But when He is there at your side, all things are possible. I encourage and challenge you today to look for God's goodness in the hardships. It's hard to see at first, but once you do, you can’t take your eyes off of it. It's so mesmerizing. God is good.
